| Wetlands,with abundant water resources, land resources, biological resources, mineralresources, are widely distributed in the world and constitute an important part of theecosystem. Its unique landscapes offer favorable conditions for the development of wetlandtourism. Wetlands not only produce huge ecological and financial benefits, but also functiongreatly in the ecological, economic, and social aspects.Harbin boasts abundant wetland resources. However, as population increases,urbanization and industrialization accelerate in the city, ecological resources in the wetlandsare being damaged seriously. Therefore, it is of great significance for rational protection andconservation of wetland resources and eco-environment in Harbin to accurately understandthe wetland distribution, monitor and evaluate on a timely basis how seriously the tourismresources are impaired. In this paper, based on the status quo of Harbin wetlands tour, iscommitted to exploring feasible tactics to conserve and utilize the city’s wetlands in asustainable way, thus providing basis for the city to conserve, develop and use wetlands in thecity. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter Introduction talks about thebackground and significance of the thesis, research status, the ideas and methods in thesiswriting, and features of the thesis from five perspectives. Chapter II analyzes the status quo ofHarbin wetlands tourism industry and current problems. This chapter mainly talks about thebasic knowledge of Harbin wetlands and wetlands tour while analyzing the status quo ofHarbin wetlands tourism industry and current problems. Chapter III, Strategic Ideas aboutDeveloping Harbin Wetlands Tourism Industry, makes anaysis from four perspectives,namely, philosophy of wetlands tourism, product development model, marketing approachesand management approaches. Chapter IV, Proposed Policies for Harbin Wetlands TourismDevelopment, discusses in detail about6aspects, namely, establishing co-buildingorganization, improving infrastructures, improving tourism products, building sound tourismimage, expanding marketing and effectively protecting resources of wetlands tourism. Thesefour chapters, by meticulously discussing and analyzing the wetlands tourism in Harbin, willprovide guidance for Harbin to develop its wetlands tourism in a more sustainable way. |
