The effect of Knowledge networks to technology innovation draws more and moreattention to theoretical and academicals circles. Small-world networks, in recent years,became a research focus. The relevant theories were applied to multiple disciplines, such asbiology, computer, economic, social relations, etc…It is of great significance to applySmall-world networks to TNCs’ knowledge network, to constitute TNCs’ Knowledgenetworks’ small-world networks, to exert basic parameters of Small-world networks foranalyzing knowledge network’s effectiveness and stability.This thesis described the relationship of the TNCs’ technological innovation andknowledge networks, demonstrated the necessity for establishing knowledge networks inTNCs, analyzed the link between TNCs’ knowledge network and small-world networks,provided the method, steps and principles for constituting TNCs’ knowledge network, andcombine these methods and principles to small-world networks theory to constituteknowledge networks model, which based on small-world networks theory. Take it as an entrypoint to analyze factors which influenced the effectiveness and stability of knowledgenetworks of TNCs.This thesis aimed at possible problems that knowledge networks may encounter duringthe practice, comprehensive analyze the factors influence the effectiveness and stability ofTNCs’ Knowledge networks. Finally from the perspectives of stability, effectiveness and theircooperation relationship, it brought forth a series of measures to guarantee the technicians, tosupport the TNCs’ corporate culture, to complete the TNCs’ knowledge database as well as toensure subsidiaries’ location and knowledge investments.
