Land resources are the resources of national survival, the utilization change of land resources is the important reason of national and even global environmental change, and also their components. The sustainable utilization of land resources is an important aspect of sustainable development with global concern. with the characteristics and advantages such as large-area eovedng,high current situation and strong real-time, accurately and quickly data acquisition, Remote sensing has become the main technology method for land resources survey and dynamic monitoring.Selected Shehong County, Suining City as the study area, the satellite images of1988,2002and2008as the data source,GIS topographic data as auxiliary data. Adding the terrain knowledge, the NDVI,the SRWI data, and so on,by using decision tree classification, extract three terms’land use information of Shehong County. Then, analysized the quantity of land use changes and type of transfer between land type in Shehong County based on the land use information, also the spatial characteristics of the land type,and the dynamic dgree of land-use change. According to the second land survey data, analysized spatial distribution characteristics of land use in elevation, slope, aspect, slope position, as well as the river, traffic location. Shehong County’s land resources protection, rational sustainable use of recommendations were analyzed.Through this study, achieved the following results as follows: (1)Through the method of multi-parameter supported decision tree classification,obtained the four terms’land use data of Shehong County, they were the data of1988,2002and2008. And the overall accuracy of decision tree classification for2002’s image was91.17%.(2)Analysized the quantity of land-use change all the7classes, the results showed that,the area of dryland took place greatest change in20years,the area reduced60374.75hm2, as20.04%.Through area transfer matrix of land-use change, analysized transfer relational schema between land-use types. The results showed that the amount of dry land and paddy fields continued to decline, the increase in construction land and woodland, countervailing.(3) The dynamic change of land use was analyzed by using the singular and synthetical land use dynamic degree model. The research indicated that construction land, dry land and forest land changed a lot, the speed was slow form1988to2002,and fast from2002to2008, consistent with the social development policy and the project of "Conversion of Cropland to Forest". The change rate of paddy field changes is the minimum,the dynamic change degree is only0.83%. The overall land use dynamic degree of1988-2002is0.68%,4.47%in2002-2008;1988-2008of1.76%.(4) The space distribution characteristics of irrigated land and unused land (shoals) shows obvious distribution characteristics along the river, construction land distribution along the transit line characteristics. Changes in areas of land types, On one hand is outside the city of cultivated land into construction land, on the other hand is woodland Transitional Zone in drylands, forest.(5)To come up with strategies and recommendations, including to strengthen reasonable awareness of sustainable land use, land resource management, real-time monitoring of cultivated land resources, and strictly control unreasonable occupation of arable land resources, and improve soil fertility, production capacity.
