Green development is an important part of the scientific concept of development. It requires under the constraints of ecological environment and resources, the industry consume resources as few as possible meanwhile maximally decrease the negative influences to environment. Since the green industry is an important part of the new industrialization of green development, China must carry out a green industrial revolution.From the perspective of ecological and economic efficiency, the author selects the panel data about industries in31provinces of China from2005to2010. By data envelopment analysis model (DEA model) and Malmqist productivity index model, the author analyzes the levels of industrial development in the31areas respectively. Finally the essay presents the suggestions to support green industrial developmentThe essay is divided into six chapters:Chapter1. Generally Introduction. First of all it presents the backgrounds and the significances of the topic. Then it gives the literature review. The next is the main research methods and framework and finally it pointes out the innovations in this paper.Chapter2. Theory. This chapter gives definitions of industrialization, efficiency, economic efficiency and eco-efficiency. Meanwhile it illustrates the stages of industrial development and industrialization strategies. Finally it explains the core concept:the formula of the value of economic efficiency (El), the value of eco-efficiency (E2) and ecological and economic efficiency (E).Chapter3. Methodology. In this chapter author introduces the data envelopment analysis model (DEA model) and Malmqist productivity index model and gives the explanations on how these tow models calculate the values of economic efficiency, eco-efficiency, ecological and economic efficiency Chapter4. Empirical Analysis. It begins with the calculation of the values of economic efficiency, eco-efficiency in the31regions. Six indicators of input and output are divided into the three periods, which are from2005to2007, from2008to2010and2010.Respectively, to calculate three efficiency values. Each of the three efficiency values change at different times. According to the results from DEA, it can be observed the path changes in31regions in3periods respectively.On the basis of Malmqist productivity index mode, this chapter interprets the deeper reasons of fluctuation of economic and ecological efficiency. The TC stands for t technical efficiency while the TE means the improvement in Technical change. Both of the two elements effect the value of economic and ecological efficiency. The changes of Malmqist productivity index during2005and2010shows the paths of industrialization in China.In this chapter it presents the different level in the process of green industrialization. At the same time the results reflect sustainable development path of31regions from2005to2010. The four kinds of model of industrialization development have its own characteristic. Model A, which means the economic efficiency and ecological efficiency are "two high" is undoubtedly the optimal mode of the Greening of industry. However, based on natural endowments, geographical characteristics, historical and economic conditions, as well as the current pattern of industrialization, not all regions" development paths are in the same way. This chapter gives the five different development path to achieve model A.Chapter5. Case Study. According to the case study of industries in Sichuan and Chongqing, the author explores the industry development path from D mode to A mode.Chapter6. Research findings. It gives the conclusions of the research in this essay.
