In twentieth century, the degree of informatization and knowledge are very high and due to improved mode of production, the use of information system and knowledge system, the form of organization is undergoing unprecedented change. Only when the form of the organization is adapt to internal and external environment, the organization can survive and develop. At the same time, knowledge management has played an important role in the daily management of enterprises. If one enterprise does not understand knowledge management, it will be eliminated in increasing competitions. Facing on increasingly fierce international competition, innovation and good innovation performance are necessary for enterprises’survival and development.This paper uses empirical methods to study the relationships of knowledge management, organizational change and innovation performance. The selection principles of survey are:(1)the survival time of the corporation are in five years and above;(2)the companies have had the experience of organizational change;(3)the companies enterprise knowledge management and has been implemented;(4)companies are innovative enterprises in their industry and continuous innovation. This paper mainly focused on large-scale concentration dissemination of investigations, e-mail and so on to start research. Questionnaires are the agents of organizational change, the practitioners of knowledge management and the managers of the research and development department. The place of survey focused on Xi’an, Chengdu, Beijing, Shenyang, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangdong and other cities. The time of survey is from June to November in2010. The total of questionnaires is800and the number of valid questionnaires is453, the response rate is56.6percent in which the number of valid one is414, accounting for91.4percent of the total.Knowledge management is the product of the era of knowledge economy and is very important for the development of our business. Management communities concern the impact of knowledge management for organizational change and innovation performance. As the development of market competition, production technology and information technology, production labor and management work methods and means have taken place great changes. The level of organization which based on the traditional division of labor and production processes requires fundamental change. The impact of organizational change for innovation performance also attracted attention in the context of knowledge management.This paper bases on414samples and uses structural equation model to analyze the relationships between knowledge management, organizational change and innovation performance. Firstly, basing on existing research results, we put forward the theoretical framework of this article; secondly, we defined the concept of the study, if one concept has the ready-scale, use the ready-scale. If one concept does not have ready-scale, we develop the scale; then, we used the survey data to verify the theoretical framework; finally, we get the conclusion of this article.The knowledge management processing capabilities include knowledge acquisition, knowledge dissemination, knowledge utilization and knowledge protection. Organizational changes include organizational process change, organizational structure change and organizational culture change. Product innovation performance includes product innovation efficacy and product innovation efficiency. The conclusions of this article are as follows:(1) If the knowledge management processing capabilities are strong, organizational process change and product innovation efficacy have a positive correlation, organizational process change and product innovation efficiency have a positive correlation; if the knowledge management processing capabilities are weak, organizational process change and product innovation efficacy have a negative correlation, organizational process change and product innovation efficiency have a negative correlation.(2) If the knowledge management processing capabilities are strong, organizational structure change and product innovation efficacy have a positive correlation, organizational structure change and product innovation efficiency have a positive correlation; if the knowledge management processing capabilities are weak, organizational structure change and product innovation efficacy have a negative correlation, organizational structure change and product innovation efficiency have a negative correlation.(3) If the knowledge management processing capabilities are strong, organizational culture change and product innovation efficacy have a positive correlation, organizational culture change and product innovation efficiency have a positive correlation; if the knowledge management processing capabilities are weak, organizational culture change and product innovation efficacy have a negative correlation, organizational culture change and product innovation efficiency have a negative correlation.The innovation points of this paper include:(1) the combination of organization theory and innovation theory. The combination of organizational change theory and product innovation performance, analyze the relationships between organizational process change, organizational structure change, organizational culture change and product innovation efficacy, product innovation efficiency;(2) in this paper, we put into the knowledge management processing capabilities as a moderator and analyze the relationships between product innovation performance and organizational change.The conclusion of this study has guidance to study knowledge management, organizational change and innovation performance and has guidance to knowledge management and organizational change and can also provide a reference for decision making of relevant departments of government.
