Research On International Trade Finance Of Small And Medium-size Foreign Trade Enterprises Of Ningbo

Small and medium size foreign trade companies are the main force of theeconomic development of Ningbo. However, the shortage of capital is thedevelopment bottleneck that the existing small and medium size foreign tradecompanies in Ningbo generally face. Most of the small and medium size foreign tradecompanies choose the international trade financing depending on the import andexport business. This article aims to assist the small and medium size foreign tradecompanies to find the suitable way of international trade financing and guide them tobreak the difficult situation of the capital shortage.The first part of this article briefs the related theory of international tradefinancing and the current research situation of international trade financing in China.The second part is about the analysis and comparison of the various kinds ofinternational trade financing through traditional and emerging aspects. The third partis about the strategies on how to choose the international trade financing including thetraditional single financing strategy and structural trade financing strategy. The forthpart is about the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the financing ofthe small and medium size foreign trade companies through questionnaire survey aswell as the study on the reason for current situation through enterprises, financingorganizations and government aspects. The last part of the article is how to make thesuitable international financing strategies based on companies’ own situation anddifferent business characteristics through the financing case studies.Different from the past research on the financing of small and medium sizeforeign trade companies which is bank and other financing organizations centered,this article is companies centered and discusses through the companies aspect whichis more practical and targeting.
