The design and construction of logistic parks developed fastly in China, which improve the development of the logistic industry. However, there are plenty of problems in the park development such as lack of scientific orientation, blind expansion, high vacancy rate and low utilization rate. In such developing stage of design and construction of logistic parks in China, the research of freight quantity prediction of logistic parks is ignored. As a result, selections of prediction methods are not scientific in many of recent predictions. Therefore, it is necessary to research the freight quantity prediction carefully, considering its fundamental influence to the future selection decisions, functional orientation and rational distribution in the design and construction of logistic parks.Based on the review of literatures on freight quantity prediction methods of logistic parks, this paper first introduced the present development of global logistic parks and analyzed problems and trends of Chinese logistic parks. Second, brief introductions and comments of common prediction methods, qualitative and quantitative, were given. Third, with C#and Microsoft Visual Studio, this paper developed a prediction system involving9common freight predictions of logistic parks, which is simple in interface, convenient to use and applicable. At the end, the paper apply studied the freight quantity prediction of CS town railway logistic parks in Dongguan and Huaxi Agricultural Cold Chain logistic parks in Sichuan Province by the developed system, and obtained reasonable results of prediction.
