Logistics Park Location And Layout And Scale Prediction For Neijiang City

Neijiang is located in the southeast of Sichuan, with Chongqing on the east, Chengdu on the west, Zigong, Yibing, and Luzhou on the South and Ziyang and Suining on the north. As the closest prefecture-level city to Chongqing in Sichuan, Neijiang is the regional central city in Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle which connects the two core cities of Chengdu and Chongqing.Thanks to the governments encouragement and support, the logistics industry has played an increasingly apparent role in promoting the local economy. The cities surrounding Neijiang are rapidly striving for the logistics market, especially the cities like Zigong, Suining, Ziyang, Luzhou and Yibing. They are competing for the central regional status of the logistics in the joint areas of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Guizhou. They successively issued their development plans for the local logistics industry on the basis of their traffic conditions, industrial basis and geographical conditions. Logistic parks and logistic centers have also sprung up. Obviously, the city occupying the central status of the local logistics first will gain the upper hand in the development of market economy.The thesis takes an actual project for example to introduce the general situation of the development of the logistics industry home and abroad and it also analyzes the social and economic development, logistic and traffic environment in Neijiang, Chengdu-Chongqing economic region and industry status in detail. It summarizes the current situation of the development of logistics industry in Neijiang as well.Based on the economic index data over years in Neijiang, it takes advantage of time series, regression analysis model and trend prediction model to calculate the city’s GDP, logistics volume and freight volume in order to discuss the feasibility of the construction of the logistic parks.Combined with the actual situation in Neijiang,it also plans and designs the overall layout and site selection of the logistic parks. At the same time, it estimates the land scale of the logistic parks by using qualitative and quantitative methods and make suggestions for the layout planning and the land scale of the logistic parks.All in all, the thesis has some theoretical value and practical significance for realizing the reasonable planning of modern logistics industry in Neijiang.
