Since the1950s, the inventory control theory research and application arecompelled forwardly by the increasingly fierce competition in the market and alsothe increasing economic globalization development. Especially in recent decades, with supply chain management is accepted by enterprises gradually, inventorycontrol has become indispensable in the part of the people’s economic, trade anddaily life. The deterioration of the items is common phenomenon in our daily life. Manygoods will deteriorate in storage process, such as the rottion of the fruits andvegetables, foods and volatilization of the materials. It means the influence of thedeterioration in the inventory strategy is extremely important. Therefore, the studyof the deterioration is significant in theory and reality in the inventory strategy. The Classic EOQ model is assumed that the demand is constant, and alsobrings huge economic benefits to the enterprises and society. But many items do notsatisfy the condition of the constant deterioration rate in the real life, which makes abig distance between the optimal value and the actual valuein the EOQ model. In order to narrow the gap caused by the deterioration, this paper developed theoptimum order strategy model to introduce the weibull distribution function of twoparameters to describe perishable items which is reality-oriented. The paper gavesome specific analytical methods and the conclusions with weibull distributionfunction deterioration rate under the assumption that the demand rate isconstant, the demand rely on inventory levels, and the demand depends on theselling price respectively. Finally, we summarized the problems discussed by thearticle, and look forward to use the more accurate distribution function to describedistribution characteristic of the perishable articles.
