Study On Deteriorating Items Procurement Decision Under Price Fluctuating With Online Competitive Strategy

Deteriorating items is a special kind of goods,which will make great influence to the inventory system due to damage or decay,volatile,metamorphic characteristics.In real life,there are a lot of perishable goods and it can't be ignored.Most of existing studies of deteriorating item procurement needs to meet future prices subject to a certain random distribution or assumptions that the stochastic process,and due to the diversity of the uncertain factors in reality,the decision maker only have the information of present and past price information,so it is difficult to accurately depict the future price distribution.We will use online algorithm and competitive analysis methods for modeling and analysis to find online competition strategy,and use the numerical example to verify the theoretical analysis,so as to provide enterprises with valuable and reasonable policy recommendations.Paper main research work and conclusions are as follows:1.Combined with market situation of fluctuating price,we build a real-time purchasing model of perishable goods,and propose an effective online conpetitive procurement strategy,using the worst case analysis to analyze competitive ratio,and design a simple algorithm to calculate the optimal economic order quantity.At last,we validate the conclusion through numerical analysis.2.According to the phenomenon that the greater the common stock,the more attract consumers to buy,we analyze the demand depends on inventory level on the base of last chapter.and made further research on deteriorating items with uncertain price and varing demand,also,we designe an effective procurement strategy for this situation and obtain relative competitive ratio.Finally,a numerical example and sensitivity analysis are proposed to prove the actual competitive ratio and the result is robust.3.In the previous study,we assume that the deterioration rate is constant,but in real life,deterioration rate often change over time.We establish a model with deterioration rate under Weibull distribution model for perishable items,and analyze procurement strategy for perishable items with uncertain price and deterioration rate under Weibull distribution,and look into the impaction of input parameters on the strategy performance through a numerical example and sensitivity analysis.
