Development Research On The Inter-regional Trade Among Lanzhou－Xining－Geermu Economic Region

According to the planning "in-depth implementation of the westerndevelopment strategy" which rised by the CPC Central Committee andState Council, as well as the national "12th Five-Year Planning",Lanzhou－Xining－Geermu economic region have been positioned as a newgrowth point in the western region.However,the Lanzhou－Xining－Geermu economic region’s development are relatively backward.Weknow that trade is an effective means of promoting regional economicdevelopment and upgrading of industrial structure.Since the reform andopening up,China’s international trade has made considerabledevelopment.However,for Lanzhou－Xining－Geermu economicregion,the use of foreign investment and import and export volumeaccounted for a very small percentage of the national total, just to be asupporting role when it participates in inter-provincial regional division.So for the economic region, inter-regional trade within the district is away greater than the economic region with the field range in theinter-regional trade.The division of inter-district which is decisided by theterms of trade in the inter-district reflects on the industry focusing on aspecific location, and thus forms regional advantage industries.This paper mainly conducts a comparative analysis about theinter-regional trade among Lanzhou,Xining,Geermu.The paper takesadavantage of the theory of international trade, regional economics, industrial economics,quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis on theinter-regional trade among the three regions and the regional divisionstatus.In the structure,firstly this article briefly introduces the significanceof "Rising in the Lanzhou－Xining－Geermu economic region"and therelated theory of inter-regional trade.And then analyse the importance ofinter-regional trade towards the Lanzhou－Xining－Geermu economicregion.Mainly analyse at the point on location environment,nationalunity,industrial structure an so on.The middle part comparatively analysethe status of the three regional economic development,pointed out that thetwo factor of local protectionism under the industrial isomorphism andindustrial transfer of the stagnation effect the inter-regional trade andinter-regional division among the three areas.In conclusion,using SWOTanalysis of the inter-regional trade among the three regions,pointed outthe advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats among the threeregions,and concluded that it is feasible to carry out inter-regional tradeamong the three regions,then make relevant policy recommendations.
