Recently, iPhone and iPad come into our lives, and there is a great change oftouch panel’s development. With touch panel, we can use our fingers instead ofkeyboard. By the way, there are not only simple changes of operation, but alsoperfect feeling of vision and gesture without obstacle. According it, we can see thedisplay clearer, and feel free to finished rotate, pull and stretch the image. But as anew product, there are some particular problems. Such as low yield and high cost.This text quoted quality development history. The history start from inspectionstep to total quality management. This text quoted quality related theories, such ascustomer orientation，leader function, quality cost,employee joining, continueimprovement and so on. And it quoted the quality tools, such as8D and QFD. Thistext analyzed the defect status of customer, CXX quality status and the productimprove method. And then it analyzed the touch panel enterprises, including qualitystatus and product mass. From such above mentioned, they showed CXX qualitystatus and market background. We established the quality improving direction. Thistext analyze the main reason for the product dirty, foreign material and fiber, andanalyzed the producing process which related with the quality problems. With QFD,we identify the most related factors between customer requires and process controlpoints, identify the most relation between customer requires and process controlpoints, and take some new actions. In this text, the application of QFD, related thecustomer problems to the process actions, indicate a new direction for qualityimprovement.
