Research On The Location Of Distribution Center For Multi Varieties Perishable Goods And The Chosen For Distribution Tool

With the development of economy and the continuous improvement of livingstandard, the consumption of perishable goods is increasing year by year. Perishableproducts have some characteristics such as its short market life cycle and easiness to decay,which determine we should put much attention to the timeliness of distribution in itsdistribution process, and the enterprise also puts more and more attention to the circulationof perishable products. As the central link in logistics network, distribution center plays animportant role in the circulation of perishable goods. The selection of distribution centersite and the distribution network put an indirect impact on the business activities ofenterprises. For an enterprise offers many kinds of Perishable goods, the qualitativeproperties and product value of each goods may be different, these factors directly affectthe construction of the distribution network.Firstly, basing on the analysis of the characteristics of perishable product corruptionand research progress of perishable articles, this paper makes some further research on theinfluence factors of the site selection of distribution center of perishable product and theirrelations, and then puts forward that the maximum profit of distribution network of theperishable product is the target location model, which change the traditional research onthe minimization of logistics cost. And it constructs the model of site selection ofdistribution center for multi varieties perishable goods, and combined with a true case, itwas computed by the lingo. Secondly, This paper introduces a0-1variation to representthe transportation choice in the distribution center location，and establishes a model ofmulti perishable goods delivery with considering the choice of the distribution transporttool. And combining with a true case, we come to simulate calculate by lingo. Finally, thetotal profit and the result of location for many varieties perishable product distributionnetwork are compared for considering the chosen of distribution tool or not. Theresearch’s results of this article show that considering multi varieties perishabledistribution problems, for realizing maximization of the economic benefit for distributionnetwork, we must establish appropriate distribution center, and choose the rightdistribution path and transport tools according to different perishable goods.
