| After20years of rapid development, the Chinese family enterprise has become animportant component of China’s economic growth, and has played a huge role in creatingemployment and promoting economic development. Chinese family enterprise in itsinception, the trust among members of the family business based on consanguinityrelationship has played a significant role in promoting the development of the enterprise,and reducing the cost of enterprise operation and transaction. However, as the businesscontinues to expand its scale, the trust-inside and distrust-outside mechanism, makes theenterprise encounter the trust crisis, resulting in a trust dilemma, and unable to attract andretain advantageous professionals to business development, hindering the sustainabledevelopment of enterprises.Based on the family business trust concept, trust feature and domestic and foreignscholars’ analysis on the basis of the Research of trust in Chinese family business status,this paper explores the current situation of trust in Chinese family enterprise through somespecific examples. Finally, taking the dilemma existing in the interior of trust in Chinesefamily enterprise as a starting point, from the following four aspects, including culture,society, institution and cognition, the paper reveals the root formation of Chinese familyenterprise trust dilemma deeply, and analyzes the case specifically from the source of thetrust dilemma through the method of case study. At the same time, it puts forward somecountermeasures and suggestions to solve the dilemma of Chinese family enterprise trust,to establish and improve the mechanism of trust in family enterprise respectively fromsuch four aspects as culture, society, institution and cognition.This paper aims to explore what the existing root of trust difficulties in the process ofthe development of Chinese family business, and how to manage it effectively. And at lastit hopes to help the family enterprise realize its reform and development. |
