H Company is a famous multinational group, one of the Fortune500.H Company have cared about the energy saving and environmentbusiness for a long time. Right now, almost50%product produced by HCompany can improve the energy efficiency. Along with theencouragements and supports from the Government, the solar industryfaces another fast growth time. And this brings the chance for HCompany. So, the company founded a new business unit–SolarDepartment. In this historical change time in solar industry, how should Hcompany to win the competition is a critical question.Through the analysis of the internal and external environmentsanalysis, using the strategy management tools, this essay provides thedevelopment strategy direction and executive actions. Firstly, we usePEST model and industrial competition model to analyze the externalenvironment of solar industry, structure the EFE matrix. Then, we analyzethe internal environment from the perspective of finance, management,technology, brand and so on, structure the IFE matrix. Based on theforward two steps, we use QSPM model and IE matrix to find the appropriate development strategy for H Company.This paper is taking example of H Company’s research, to illustratethe each specific step of enterprise strategic analysis, strategic choice,strategic implementation and control. It also provides references andenlightenment of strategy management of other solar companies. |
