Since the90’s of the last century, along with the national urbanizationas well as the implementation of the socialist new rural developmentstrategy, China’s rural economy to achieve leapfrog development.According to statistics, the "Eleventh Five-Year" period, the level ofurbanization in China increased from42.9%in2005to46.6%in2010. Inorder to better promote the development of urban and rural localities topromote rural transport infrastructure construction, and has laid a goodfoundation for socio-economic development of rural areas. Bus fares arean important part of the urban and rural public passenger service system,is to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas, promotion ofequalization of public services public transport services, an importantmeans of expression, therefore, actively promote the integration of urbanand rural bus background to explore building a reasonable bus farepricing system has important practical significance.From an economic perspective, according to the purposes of pricing,there form different kinds of methods, for instance, marginal costs,sub-optimal pricing theory, Ramsey pricing, average cost pricing andgeneralized cost pricing method, etc.Continue to extend the length of the routes, increasing network density,the increase in operating costs of passenger transport enterprises, theGovernment’s financial burden, while facing resource integration processof urban and rural passenger capacity main complex, uneven marketsegmentation and many other issues, how to build a line with urban and rural development requirements of urban and rural public transport faresystem problems to be solved. In this paper, the analysis of from bus fareseconomics attributes manpower, relying on the three-tier network of urbanand rural bus system within the (urban bus, city to the township publictransportation, town to village bus). By different bus fares pattern analysis,propose a universal, applicable to the basic ideas and methods developedin the urban and rural bus fares.
