Air and Ocean shipping mode are used by A company to deliver the Hard Disc Drivecargo from wuxi factory to Amsterdam distribution center. According to current marketingenvironment and company’s strategy, A company’s target is control the shipping cost at meetcustomer’s requirements. But current shipping mode can’t total meet this requirements onlead time or shipping cost.The Article raise two new designed shipping routing per Multimodal transport theory.One is truck-rail program; another is Sea-Air program. At the same time, the Articlementioned current container loading process and optimize ways, finally A company got60%increment of loading capacity. New designed shipping mode describes shipping routing,shipping lead-time, shipping cost, and operation flow and document requirements in detail.The Article use AHP to set up module structure, use shipping cost, shipping lead-time,shipping quality and cargo safety, etc to get the right shipping mode from Air, Ocean,Truck-rail and Sea-Air in A company. The Article uses fuzzy linear programming to find theright shipping mode in three particular cases: shipping mode per the lowest shipping costtarget, shipping mode per the weighting of lowest shipping lead-time and shipping cost,shipping mode per the lowest total Logistics cost.The final result is A company adjust the marketing strategy to use Air and Sea-Airshipping mode due to Thailand flooding in the first half year of2012. This measure getcompetition superiority and360,000of cost saving. In the second half year of2012, Acompany use Sea-Air shipping mode only to maximize the saving due to soft marketingdemand. It proves this article is effective through the actual happened cases.
