With the promotion of the global economic integration and thecontinuing development of technology, the living environment andcompetitive situation that enterprises are facing are undergoing drasticchanges. Under the increasingly competitive and complex marketenvironment, how should small and medium-sized enterprises establish astrategy with its own characteristics that is adaptable to the externalenvironment to create and maintenance competitive advantages? Thisquestion is the key problem that those enterprises need to solve in order toseek long-term survival and maintenance of healthy and sustainabledevelopment.This thesis takes the current economic situation and the status ofchemical fiber industry as background,and use the theories and methods ofcorporate strategy management and corporate growth to do exploratoryresearch of the growth strategy for Z company. This paper aims to help Zcompany establish a practical system of strategic management and strategic planning on the study of its growth strategy research,which may providestrategic decision references for its growth and development in the future.Meanwhile author hopes that by doing some research this paper can providesome valuable references for the same kind of small and medium-sizedenterprises in the strategic management.In this paper,relevant studies of enterprise strategic managementtheories and enterprise growth theories are briefly introduced,then thecurrent macroeconomic environment, the competition situations of chemicalfiber industry and internal environment of Z company are definitely analyzed.And finally finds out the opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses forenterprise’s development. On the basis of the above factors,this paper tries touse the SOWT Matrix to find the suitable strategies,thereby making out theoptional strategies for company’s development. This paper tries to combinethe goals and positioning of Z company,and use the quantitative analysis ofthe strategic plan matrix to find out a suitable strategic plan for itsdevelopment. In the end the paper put forward some suggestions for solutionsto the problems in the process of implementation strategies.
