| Energy is one of the important factors to promote the economic development of acountry, and is also one of the most important resources in human society. In any socialsystem, regardless of the stage of development in which social economy is under, inhuman society pursuit of economic development is the largest and most needs. Ineconomic development, economic growth is ofen the core, and the demand of economicdevelopment for energy can be expressed by the demand of economic growth for energy. The use of energy in promoting economic development is realized through promotingeconomic growth. This paper, based on the energy use economics theory and the path of developedcountries, use the measurement of the mature empirical analysis research methods (panelunit root test, panel cointegration test, model set test and HAUSMAN test) to empiricalanalyse the energy consumption and economic growth of the three kinds of countries inthe world, investigate the relationship of the long-term equilibrium and the influencebetween energy consumption and economic growth, and point out the path of developmentin all kinds of the country’s energy consumption and economic growth. The mainconclusions are as follows:For the developed countries, as it has walked at the forefront of the world, thedevelopment in the future has no path which can be consulted. In general they shouldemphasize on the development of energy saving technology, fully exploit the productionefficiency, energetically develop the potential of the third industry output and furtherreduce dependence of the economic growth to energy consumption. For the developing countries, the first priority of the current stage is to improve thelevel of industrialization and promote economic growth, but should also try to get rid ofhigh energy consumption of the extensive style of economic growth, emphasize on thedevelopment of energy saving technology, fully exploit the production efficiency, andfurther reduce the dependence of energy consumption to economic growth. In addition, developing countries in the industrialization of high degree should be gradually turnedtheir attention to the development of the third industry to weaken the influence of energy input to economy increasing, it will be helpful for the decrease of the shock frominternational energy change to its economic growth. For the least developed countries, today’s most importance is to develop economicdevelopment, make the transition from agriculture to industrialization, and promote thedevelopment of modern industrial production, increase energy resources input. but in theprocess of development, refer to the lessons of the other countries, don’t develop economyin an extensive form as far as possible, then introduce highly efficient productiontechnology and energy saving technology, in the process of production pay attention toenergy efficient investment. |
