In recent years, real estate industry in China developed rapidly and has become thepillar industry in the national economy. What’s more, there is a number of developmentcompanies, they come to the fore as benchmarking enterprises. With the fierce marketcompetition, strategic supplier management, as the core of purchasing management ofthe real estate development enterprise, is becoming especially important. The real estatedevelopment enterprises learn from the advanced management experience of thebenchmark companies to improve their own businesses as a strategic suppliermanagement level of strategic importance.This thesis did a research to analyze and summarize the current situations ofstrategic supplier management in the domestic benchmark for real estate developmententerprises under the direction of the supply chain, purchasing management theory andbenchmarking management theory. Besides, using the methods of literature research,interview investigation, data and case analysis and combining the concrete practices ofprograms, the thesis did an benchmarking study on the main links in the strategicsupplier management in China’s real estate development enterprises. It also made areflection on the existing problems and the innovation of cooperation modes in thestrategic supplier management in China’s real estate development enterprises. The maincontent and results are as follows.(1) Strategic suppliers management basic theory andpractice. It illustrated the relationship between the strategic supplier management,project procurement management and supply chain management. It also cleared theprocess of benchmarking study in strategic supplier management and summarized theapplication of the standard management in real estate development businessmanagement.(2) Strategic suppliers management benchmarking study. This chapterresearched and concluded the benchmark for real estate development enterprise strategicsupplier management system, then from the practices of supplier management in FSCompany, it conducts a benchmarking study. This chapter systematically analyzed theclassification of strategic suppliers and the clarification of management model, choosingstrategic suppliers and performance evaluation mechanism, cooperation modes betweenreal estate development enterprises and strategic suppliers. It systematically combed and deeply thought on the advanced management experience of the benchmark for realestate development enterprises. It also evaluated strategic supplier managementpractices in FS Company and gave some feasible proposal.The methods and practices on strategic supplier management summarized from theabove benchmarking analysis and research aimed to provide some references andinspiration for real estate development enterprises to better management of strategicsupplier management.
