This paper reviews the research achievements of predecessors, puts the existingdistribution network as the research subject and researches the optimization of thedistribution network with the traffic congestion from three perspectives, namely, Dis-tribution center location optimization, Distribution lines selection optimization andDistribution quantity decision optimization.First, this paper studies the size of distribution network optimization with trafficcongestion. To minimize the total cost and maximize operation efficiency simultane-ously, builds the two-objective programming combined with classical location modeland data envelopment analysis. The results of the numerical analysis show that thismodel can effectively guide the enterprise to optimize the size of distribution network. The enterprise may not change a lot about the size of the network, when he pref-erences cost priority; On the contrary, when he preferences efficiency first, he willconsider the radiation effects of the high efficiency DC to the whole network, thenthe size may have a great change; the average DEA efficiency value relative to Costgrowth will slow step by step after the total cost increased to a certain value. Then, this paper researches distribution lines selection optimization. Puts the traf-fic congestion as one kind of the path failure and defines the link disruption probabilityas a combination of two condition probabilities and considers all states of the system. The state transmit matrix is established based on the link disruption probability and thedefinition of states, then the stationary probabilities of all states are calculated basedthe Markov Chain model.Taking the shortest route time as the evaluating principle, the transportation route choosing model is built. Finally, take a simple transportation network as an example, the route choosing process is shown using the model in thispaper, and the result reveals that the model is feasible for choosing route effectivelyunder the link disruption. Finally, this paper researches the distribution quantity decision optimization. Putsthe distribution network into the supply chain system, assumes that there were sometraffic congestion on the road between the distribution center and the demand points, builds a model of the distribution quantity decision optimization, and does some equi-librium analysis. The results of the numerical analysis show that, with the trafficcongestion cost factor increasing, the enterprise will decrease the supply quantity tomarkets,by rising the market price and reducing the transportation cost to make upfor the increased cost of traffic congestion....
