As the back end of supply and demand industry chain, distribution management has always been the most important part of operation management. It always plays an important role no matter in operating cost of enterprises or customer services. It has a great effect on cost control and management.In the whole link of distribution management, it contains stock and warehouse management, transportation and short way transport, etc. In practice, the core of distribution management is how to improve the service and satisfaction meanwhile lowers the cost. Therefore, Enterprise put the SAP system into use in order to manage the cost and stock digitized. Meanwhile, to complete the distribution mission we try our best to control and save the transport cost, transport our product with round-trip as many as possible, reasonable the stowage and optimize transport routes. But in practice, contradictions can always be found. How to make the balance between service level improving and logistics cost reducing? How to confirm the operation according to market demand and distribution quantity? How to combine stock manage with transport manage and confirm the operation through the management to the total cost of stock and transportation? This thesis on the basis of the situation of Yihai Kerry, took a preliminary discussion on which distribution and management model should it takes on its series products of Jinlongyu(Arawana) in Shanghai. The major work of this thesis as follows:1. An introduction has been made to present Yihai Kerry Group and the produce, sales and market demand of its Jinlongyu series products.2. Few prominent problems along with the distribution and management models of Jinlongyu series products in Shanghai have been analysed brief and to the point.3. Combine the practical situation,Two business models has been drawed through the analysis to the distribution demand of Jinlongyu product business development in Shanghai in the future.4. A reserach about the transport manage in disturibution mannagement has been done to analise the diffiences among the three business models.5. The distribution management in Shanghai would be optimized by using ABC classification of stock and prediction mechanism of stock management combine with total cost and distribution amounts control method.6. Through the analises and introduce above, few advices has been made about the distribution model of Jinlongyu products in Shanghai. Meanwhile, the distribution management has been advanced by using three manage methods.Though the research data of this thesis come from particular company’s particular products, the related thinking of distribution management also could took example by same enterprises and it is also a reference to other enterprises or industry using related operation models.
