The technological developments and competition in the market made the community in the times of numerous projects. Now people call the21st century as an era of project management. The modern project management application process is that from experience typed traditional management into a science of modern management. With the coming of the knowledge economy, the rapid development of the network economy and the information technology provide new opportunities and challenges for the development of modern enterprises. The booming of technology made the businesses have to face the rapid product conversion requirements. All this requires the enterprises to center on project and improve their ability to compete. Organizational form of project management has provided a new expansion form for the business organization development. The enterprises will adopt a project-majored development model for the production and operation.This article aims at problems appeared in the quality improvement project management of Baosteel-NSC/Arcelor Automotive Steel Sheets Co., LTD. using modern project management theory and method, analyzed the problems existing in of the project approval stage, the implementation phase of the project process, and project organization and other aspects in the original quality improvement projects. By analyzing the causes of the problem, combined with the knowledge have learned and the current project management theory, with regard to how to solve the existing problems of project management by the quality improvement, the writer presented his vision and suggestion for the future work. He also discussed the models and methods suitable for his company’s quality improvement for project management and established a set of normalized and practical processes and systems of quality improvement project management.The stage results obtained for this articlehas made clear that the current board BNA should adopt quality improvement project management system. It will fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the employees for the quality improvement project, and improved the overall quality of the staff. The problems in the project implantation will be mostly eliminated, and the completion quality and work efficiency of the project will be greatly improved.
