Econometrics Research Of The Relationship Between International Trade And Economic Growth In Liaoning Province

With the gradual integration of the global economy accelerating, and the international division of labor deepening, the promotional effect of international trade on economic growth has become increasingly apparent. There are many researches about the relationship between international trade and economic growth, the results showed that most researchers generally agreed that international trade certainly facilitated the economic growth, especially for China, the fast growth and development of economy has proved the promotion of international trade on economic growth. But now the research about the relationship between international trade and economic growth of provinces and regions are not enough. Therefore, this paper analyse the relationship of international trade and economic growth of Liaoning Province and give policy suggestions to the development of Liaoning economy.Firstly, this paper summarized the literatures of domestic and foreign research on the relationship between international trade and economic growth. Secondly, this paper analysed the general information of international trade and economic growth of Liaoning Province with datas and charts, like the flexibility and the correlation coefficient, to reflect that the international trade and economic growth are in the same trend. Thirdly, this paper used unit root test, cointegration analysis and Granger causality econometric analysis to study the relationship between international trade and economic growth of Liaoning Province, the results showed that the international trade and economic growth in Liaoning Province are cointegration, which means that there is a stable long-term equilibrium relationship between them. And by the Granger causality econometric analysis result, we can easily tell that there are two-way significant effects between export growth and economic growth, While there is no significant effect between import growth and economic growth. Finally, this paper give the suggestions about strategy and recommendation based on the analysis of international trade and economic development of Liaoning Province.
