In recent years, the railway metro vehicle have a very great demand and lots ofcities in china have made the plan to build the railway transport system, and somecity’s already began to build their railway transport system, such as Shanghai,Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijng, Nanjing, Shenyang etc, In the metro vehicle market,there is just very few supplier, CNR Changchun railway vehicle company, CSRQingdao Sifang railway vehicle company and CSR Zhuzhou railway vehiclecompany. But these years National Development and Reform Commission haveapproved to build lots of railway transport system in city. According to the statisticaldata reported in year of2011, there is will be27metro line starting put into operation,so for each metro vehicle supplier, they have join in an extremely competitive market.In order to get a place in this market, therefore, a mature and effective manufactureand management system is very important.Changchun BT Company is a joint venture found by Changchun RailwayCompany and BT Company, and found from1997. Its main product is metro vehicleand light rail vehicle. In last decades, they have produced nearly1000vehicles, whichare mainly produced for larger city in china market. Changchun BT company’sproduction capacity is improving from the project of Guangzhou line2vehiclecontract, which’s have a production capacity of720vehicles one year. It’s alwaysleading the china city railway vehicle market. They have provided the metro vehiclefor Guangzhou metro company, Shenzhen metro company, Shanghai metro companyand Singapore LTA, their product has got the customer’s praise.Changchun BT Company’s manufacture is same as its parent BT Company,which is used to operate the entire project. From2002, Changchun BT Companybegan to use the ERP. Until now, they have improved this system after practiced in several project. Until now, It’s ERP manufacture management system couldcombine all the Manufacturing process together, each process could be matched therequirement of Master Production schedule, which has establish all the manufactureprocess in the ERP system including customer order management, ERP data basemanagement, inventory management, shop order and work order management,technical change management. It’s ERP management process have reducing theoperation cost, improving the productivity and improving product’s quality, so thatChangchun BT company could provide our customer the product with high qualityand reliable.In order to improve Changchun bombardier companies competitive in thisindustry, it’s very necessary to analysis these Manufacturing process used in ourcompany, so that we could improve our manufacture procedure.For this purpose, by the method of integrating theory with practice, this articlehas analyzed the theory related with operation management, including MRP,inventory management, shop order management etc. And based on this analysis, weanalyzed the target and requirement for the ERP Manufacturing process forchangchun BT company. After that, we analyzed the ERP Manufacturing process,which including MPS process, EBOM and MBOM management process, inventorymanagement process, shop order and work order management process, outsourcingmanagement process and technical change implementation management process. Andwe have point out the internal relation during these processes, and find out the keyissue for the success implementation of the Manufacturing process.Combining with the application example of shanghai line9’s vehicle project, weproves that these process is suitable for changchun BT company’s business process,and achieved the anticipate target. These processes could make the vehiclemanufacture activity fulfill the need of MPS, and improving the productivity of allthe department in these procedure, improving the accuracy of data transmission. Allthe department could work together based on this system. These processes also couldreduce the cost and wastage, make the process more easy and smoothly. Improvingthe product quality and achieving a better result. Based on the application analysis ofChangchun BT Company ERP management procedure, we have found that the improvement after we used the ERP in our Manufacturing process.Finally, this article has summarized the key issue of success for ERP application.These issues including perfect Manufacturing process, ERP team consisting of keymember of each department, regularly update of PDM. If we could fulfill theserequirements, manufacturing process will be implemented fluently in the ERPsystem.
