The Research On The Quality Of China’s Foreign Trade Growth

Since the reform and opening up, the foreign trade growth of China gained the notablesuccess that attracts worldwide attention. However, compared with other countries in theworld, the contribution of foreign trade on China’s economic is not as high as we imagined.The rate of contribution is60%in Germany,33%in Japan, but only about20%in China.This is mainly because that China’s foreign trade growth exists many problems which cannot be ignored. Mainly includes: firstly, the foreign trade of our country is too dependenton the extensive exploitation of resources and energy utilization efficiency is not high;secondly, import problems such as repeated introduction of technology problems, digestivecapacity; thirdly, large amount of trade surplus in trade friction intensified," anti-dumping"and " countervailing duties" become a serious problem. These issues can be summarizedfor the growth quality of foreign trade is not high.. In view of our country foreign trade growth problems in the study of China’s foreigntrade growth, the quality of the transformation of our country’s foreign trade developmentis very important. This paper studies the connotation of the quality of foreign tradegrowth，which establishes a foundation of the study of foreign trade growth quality.Through the analysis of the connotation of the foreign trade growth quality, it can bedivided into economic benefit, structure benefit, environmental benefit and social benefit.Then construct comprehensive evaluation index system of the foreign trade growth qualityfrom the four aspects. It transforms the foreign trade growth quality from an abstractconcept into a measurable metric. The paper handles the comprehensive evaluation indexsystem of the foreign trade growth quality with the principal component analysis method.Relying on the method, we get a comprehensive index of China’s foreign trade growthquality. This paper analyzes the influence factors of foreign trade growth quality fromtheory and practice respects. The conclusion is that technological progress, upgrading ofthe industrial structure, human capital, institutional change and the FDI introduction are theimpact factors of China’s foreign trade growth quality. Then we mention specificcountermeasures of promoting China’s foreign trade growth quality and accelerating thetransformation of the growth mode of foreign trade.
