| Since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed in 2013,the provinces and regions along the Belt and Road have played a pivotal role in foreign trade.After years of exploration and accumulation,the provinces and regions along the Belt and Road have formed a relatively stable foreign trade system,and preliminary achievements have been made.On the basis of the original resource advantages and geographical advantages,the provinces and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative will continuously promote the reform of the trade system,reduce the cost of foreign trade,strengthen exchanges and cooperation with foreign enterprises,cultivate local brands with local characteristics,enhance the technological content and added value of foreign trade products,and gradually realize the high-quality development of foreign trade.Although the provinces and regions along the "One Belt and One Road" have achieved success to some extent,they also need to highlight their own characteristics in foreign trade and enhance the competitiveness and steady development of local enterprises under the great pressure of global marketization,technological innovation and economic transformation and development.In addition,the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made it clear that we should speed up the building of a modern economic system and build a new system of an open economy at a higher level,with high-quality development as the theme.The "Belt and Road" Initiative has brought broad development opportunities for the foreign trade of the provinces and regions along the Belt and Road.However,from the current development level of the provinces and regions along the Belt and Road in China,the development of various regions appears unbalanced and uncoordinated,which reminds us to constantly think and explore how to achieve high-quality trade development.This paper studies the high-quality development level of trade of provinces and regions along the "Belt and Road".Firstly,it analyzes the connotation of high-quality development of trade,then constructs an evaluation index system to measure the high-quality development level of foreign trade,calculates the high-quality development level of foreign trade of provinces and regions along the "Belt and Road" and explores its influencing factors.By analyzing the high quality development level of foreign trade of the provinces along the "One Belt and One Road",we can systematically and accurately grasp its connotation,characteristics and rules,and scientifically and objectively evaluate the high quality level of foreign trade of the provinces along the "One Belt and One Road",so as to provide reference for the high quality development of foreign trade of other regions.The results of this paper show that the comprehensive score of high-quality foreign trade development of China’s provinces along the "One Belt and One Road" shows an overall upward trend,among which the quality development level of foreign trade is southeast coastal region >Northeast region > Southwest region > Northwest region.Secondly,the index score in the dimension shows a fluctuating upward trend,the growth rate of foreign trade strength is stable,the fluctuation range of foreign trade innovation efficiency is large,the optimization degree of foreign trade structure and the change of foreign trade green development maintain the same growth trend,the momentum of foreign trade opening and development is stable since 2013,and the development level of foreign trade sharing needs to be improved.In contrast,the promotion effect of foreign trade innovation efficiency is the most prominent.According to the scores of high-quality development level of foreign trade of provinces along the "Belt and Road",cluster analysis is conducted and it is finally divided into four levels.Finally,in the study of its high quality development level factors,found that the human capital,science and technology production,industrial structure and economic factors such as the common role of foreign trade "neighbourhood" all the way along the route of province high quality development level have a significant positive impact,including the level of industrial structure optimization effect coefficient is the largest. |
