Regional Comparative Research On Modern Agriculture Development Of Jilin Province

Modern agriculture is the sustainable and comprehensive agriculture, and it is also the advanced phase through agriculture development. Modern agriculture is the inevitable trend with the Chinese economy development, since it can increase farmers’ income, optimize the economic structure of agriculture, promote the development of the agriculture economy, promote the rural industrialization development and urbanization development, and improve the capacity of agricultural comprehensive production. Jilin province, as the primary agricultural province in China, has made important contribution to ensure national food security, and it is beneficial to the development of modern agriculture because of good agriculture foundation. However, there still exist some problems in the process of agricultural development. How to use resources advantages of Jilin province, so as to solve the problems existing in agriculture development, to promote agriculture economic development, to improve the level of agriculture development of Jilin province, has important practical significance for the development of modern agriculture of Jilin province.This paper based upon related theory of modern agriculture development, sets forth the agriculture development condition of Jilin province and natural resources characteristics in the intra-regions of east, middle and west. Then, the paper confirms evaluation index weight of modern agriculture by AHP, makes some comments about the modern agricultural development level in three different areas of Jilin province by comprehensive value coefficient method; In addition, using the regional comparative advantage method, the thesis works out the industry that has comparative advantage in each region. The paper main contents as follows:Based upon related theory of modern agriculture, the paper sets up the modern agricultural evaluation index system combined with the experts. Then, the paper determines the weight of the index by AHP. Then once more, from agricultural production means and mode of operation, agricultural production conditions and agricultural output effect three aspects, the thesis makes some comments about modern agriculture developmental level on the three regions of Jilin, The conclusion of the paper is that agricultural development level of the central region in Jilin province is the highest, followed by the east, and the west behind the east. In the agricultural production means and management method compares, the central section is superior to the east and west, and production conditions is also the best of the three regions. Nevertheless, the eastern agricultural production effect is at the top of the list. By evaluation, the analysis of the paper shows modern agricultural development factors in Jilin:unreasonable agricultural economic structure, difficulty in agricultural labor transfer, the lower cultural quality of science and technology, inadequate investment in agriculture, backward agricultural informatization level. On the basis of comparative advantage of agricultural development in Jilin province, the paper comparati vely analyzed the crops and livestock products of three regions by regional comparative advantage method. Fo r crops, we use three indexes---comparative advantage of scale, efficiency of comparative advantage and com prehensive comparative advantage, to explain it, for animal husbandry, we make use of comparative advantag e of scale, production of comparative advantage and comprehensive comparative advantage, to explain it. Thr ough the analysis, c make the conclusion that corn, soy and tobacco have comprehensive comparative advanta ges in eastern region, corn and soy have comprehensive comparative advantages in the middle region, the corn has comprehensively comparative advantage in western region. For animal products, in eastern region, the cat tle-feeding exists comprehensively comparative advantages, in the middle region, pig and cattle-feeding have comprehensively comparative advantages, in the western region, cows and sheep feeding exist comprehensive ly comparative advantages. On this basis, we make the path selection for the modern agriculture development of three areas. Each region should develop the crops and animal husbandry that exist comparative advantages, in order to promote the development of modern agriculture of Jilin province.The paper finally puts forward some advice for the development of modern agriculture of Jilin province: optimizing the agricultural economic structure; increasing agricultural investment in science and technology; strengthening the agricultural infrastructure; to accelerate the development of the processing industry of agricultural products; to accelerate agriculture surplus labor transfer, etc.
