This article considers that Chinese industry has used its labor advantages connectto the world industry closely after the globalization of world economy. Through tenyears of development, the rapid development of China’s manufacturing industry hasaccumulated a solid competitive strength. In a addition, Chinese industry has a certainamount of R&D capabilities and also has a number of national brands. However,Chinese enterprises do not have the key capacity of innovation and development inthe current system of global division of work. According to some relevant study,because of lacking the ability of independent innovation and industrial upgrading,Chinese manufacture can not change the situation that it will stay in themanufacturing sector of global value chain for a long time. Actually, Chinesemanufacture has played a secondary role which is like an OEM factory in the world.By analyzing the research results of industry upgrading, this paper think that thecurrent study of upgrade of Chinese manufacture need to be improved. Firstly, weshould change the macro perspective to the study of the manufacture sector upgrade.Again, in the micro area, we need to study from the perspective of cooperation anddivision of work between organizations.This article analysis the share in world market, the industry structure, the positionof the global industrial chain, the R&D capability, brand building and marketingnetwork and human resource structure and other aspects of the problem the Chinesemanufacture faced. The analysis concluded that the upgrading of the Chinesemanufacture status is very urgent.By reviewing the experience in the upgrade process of the United States and Japan,this article found that investment and R&D are the main factors which impact of themanufacturing industry to upgrade. However, combined with the development ofmanufacturing industry is facing, the paper abstracted three factors that affect themanufacturing industry to upgrade, that is, the level of knowledge and technology, theimpact of foreign buyers, the professional level of circulation industry. This paperselected empirical data to analysis, and the result showed that these three factors had areal impact to upgrade China’s manufacturing industry. The result also showed thatthe circulation industry is more effective than other factors, so article believed that weneed to research upgrading from the point of view of the relationship betweenmanufacturing and circulation, and the professional development of circulation.This article considered that there are four factors contribute the upgrading, thereare the evolution of the relationship, the era of consumer sovereignty, thedevelopment of the domestic market and the core function of retail businesses.There are many factors hinders the upgrading of manufacture currently, such asthe large retailers abuse the monopoly power suppress manufacturing companies, andirrational structure between wholesale and retail. At last, the logistics services for themanufacturing sector is not strong. In order to solve the above problems, the systemof the circulation needs to innovate.
