With the global economic growth, the degree of China’s participationin the globalization is deepening. In recent periods, the scale of China’sexport is expanding with amazing speed. In which Processing tradeaccounted for the major part of China’s trade structure. When nowadaysthe international community pays more attention on the Global warmingand a series of environmental problems, China falls into an embarrassingsituation, for its ‘world’s factory’ title. This paper uses IO model, starts with the view of production wherecalculate the carbon dioxide emission in China’s producing activity andexport industries. We excluding the imports of intermediate inputs by themethod of Vertical specialization, then calculate the actual carbon dioxideemission in China’s export industries. The analysis indicates that areliable accounting methodology is feasible and could improve ourunderstanding of which actors and states are responsible for emissions. For example, recent emissions reductions by developed countries maylack credibility if production has merely been displaced to countries suchas China. Moreover, in the current institutional context, productionmethodologies encourage leakages through trade that may do more to displace than to reduce emissions. Both equity and efficiency concernstherefore suggest that emissions embodied in trade should receive specialattention in the distribution of post-Kyoto abatement burdens. This paper at last discusses the changing responsibilities whichChina’s export need to pay for Global Warming...
