Analysis Of Insurance Industry In Shandong Province Based On Input-output Tables

Insurance, as an important part of the financial sector, its indicators and data are the barometer of national economy.They are standards that can measure the degree of a city’s internationalization. After the2008financial crisis triggered by the global economic tsunami, the relevant industry is unable to get up after a fall, which shows the importance of financial industry to the economic integration.Under the background of economic globalization, economy in each country becomes closely, and regional industry are linked together, on the other hand this also shows economic uncertainty and vulnerability. Financial sector plays an important role in the global economy, the insurance industry also has assumed as an important function of the financial industry.The insurance industry not only improves the flow of capital efficiency, but also guarantees the normal running of the economy, providing social security function.To a certain extent, the insurance industry increases the social and economic stability. The development of the insurance industry is be bound together with other sectors.The insurance industry as a new economic growth pole, should be got the attention of the government.This paper is based on the theory of input-output and industrial complex networks, analyzing the data of insurance industry in Shandong. According to the data of the input-output table of Shandong Province in2007, this paper makes input-output analysis and industrial complex network analysis of this table. In the end, according to the results of these analysis, this paper gives some recommendations of the development of insurance in Shandong Province.
