Engineering machinery production appears in small quantities, multi-species characteristics, to purchasing and supplier management brings greater difficulty and challenge. Of course, the procurement quality is not only the choice of supplier, also including potential supplier management, supplier evaluation, supplier development, supplier elimination etc.In this paper, according to the actual situation of the company, built supplier lifecycle management system, which involves supplier potential management, access procedures, product development, supplier development stages of content.Taguchi Hiroshii quality loss theory thinks, products manufactured after avoiding causes losses to society characteristics, available "quality loss" to product quality to conduct a quantitative description. According to this theory, combined with the company’s current price requirements, based on the quality and price of the supplier selection model.Objective weighting method is a kind of quantitative analysis method, the index data analysis foundation, through the establishment of mathematical calculate the weight coefficient. According to the relationship between the original data by mathematical method to determine the weights, the judgment result does not depend on the subjective judgment, have stronger mathematic theory. In this paper the application of objective weighting method with multi-factor weighted average model, used in vendor evaluation.According to the research of the established mathematical model, to the company and engineering machinery suppliers life cycle management provides a rapid, scientific instruments, as the purchasing and supplier management provides a strong theoretical support.
