| Based on the current situation of the elderly and research results on impact factors of the selection of ideal living mode both at home and abroad, a survey with539questionnairesis carried out in the main city area of Hangzhou, which shows the living conditions of the middle-aged and the elderly, their choice of ideal future living mode and the relevant determinant factors.Empirical analysisindicates that, whether living with family members, whether the spouse is aliveor not, the main source of income, healthy status, whether having children at hand, the relationship with family membersthese six factors have a significant effect on the selection of living mode for the urban elderly.While sex, age, education, former job, present living mode, the satisfaction of the presentliving mode, the number of children, monthly income, monthly spending have no significant effect on the selection of living mode of urban elderly.Thispaper also analyzes same living modes in Hangzhou, and some suggestions on ideal living mode of the elderly are proposed. |
