A Company was established in Suzhou in year2000with registratrion capital of5million US Dollars, which is a US foreign invested company in China. Its mainproducts are semiconductors and PCBAs. Currently there are2subsidiary companies,one subsidiary is mainly responsible for the manufacturing, and the other subsidiary isresponsible for commercial sales and after-sales services.Along the rapid development of the electronics industry, the production capacitycan’t meet market demand. Company A needs to enlarge its original scale and plan tomove to a new plant location. Thus, it needs to plan new IT room to relocate ITequipments there, as well as to decide how to improve and enhance the operationalcapability of company A after the moving.In order to ensure the operation safety of the IT projects, we will firstly design theIT room, implement this project. When the IT room implementation is complete, weneed to carry out the relocation, installation and testing. During the process, there maybe a lot of problems because of a variety of reasons; we will solve these problemsthrough project management theory and methods.In this paper, based on the experienced practice through years as well as worksolution, taking this implementation as a project management, using system analysis ofproject models and other aspects of the theory of project management and project risk toanalyze the relocation process from network planning, room planning, IT equipmentroom improvement aspects etc, and detailed analysis through project managementmethods.After these analysis, the company’s IT operation will maximize the benefits andmeet the needs of employees, and the enhancement and improvement of IT managementwill truly adapt to the business development goals, so as to promote the informationmanagement of A company to make a greater contribution to the company.
