Practice has proved that cold chain logisticsis an effective vegetable logistics mode adopted in vegetable transportation both nationwideand abroad. As the Vegetable Town of China, how to develop and perfect the vegetable coldchain logistics system has become a representational and pathbreaking question inShouguang.With the theories about cold chain logistics as the guidance and the method of integratingtheory with practice, the development of Shouguang vegetables cold chain logistics werestudied. Through introducing the current situation of Shouguang vegetable cold chainlogistics industry, analyzing the existing problems and restraining factors and borrow ideasfrom vegetable cold chain logistics development experiences abroad, the relevant suggestionson Shouguang cold chain logistics were given on the basis of local situation.According to the study idea and logical frame of the paper, the content of the paper wasdivided into five parts.In Chapter One, the research background, study goal and meaning, study thinking andstudy methods are introduced. Secondly, the current situation of Shouguang vegetable coldchain logistics industry was introduced. In chapter Two, the he current situation of thevegetable cold chain logistics industry in our country was introduced at first, then thevegetable industry, vegetable logistic industry and Shouguang vegetable cold chain logisticsindustry were introduced.In Chapter Three, the existing problems and restraining factors were analyzed. Someproblems still exist in Shouguang vegetable cold chain logistics industry, for example, thevegetable losses are severe, the quality of the vegetable can not be guaranteed effectively andthe competitiveness is not strong enough. Shouguang cold chain logistics development wasrestricted because of the imperfect cold chain logistics matching facilities, the backwardtechnology and so on. According to the several cold chain logisticsabroad listed in Chapter Four, a new cold chain logistics mode, on the basis of the entirevalue chain, was put forward. Also, the countermeasures and suggestions on constructinglogistics channels, developing electronic information technologies, preservation technologiesand promoting transportation service level were put forward.
