The Empirical Research On The Relationship Between The Three Key Demands And Economic Growth Of Inner Mongolia

From the perspective of expenditure approach, GDP of one country or region usually consists of consumption, investment and net export; so the economics often regards these three demand factors as the "three carts" to drive economic growth. How to achieve the mutual coordination and promotion among the three major demands is essential to keep a sound and quick economic development of Inner Mongolia and to nurture source for sustained economic growth.The full text is divided into five parts. The first part makes an introduction on the research background, significance, methods and literature review and so on. The second part firstly defines the economic growth, and then introduces three theories about demand and economic growth, including the classical theory of economic growth, neo-classical economic growth theory and new economic growth theory. The third part measures the contribution which the three demand factors affect economic growth in Inner Mongolia from three different perspectives, which are the proportion of consumption, investment and net export in GDP, the contribution share and contribution of the three demand factors that give to economic growth of Inner Mongolia. The fourth part, using the Granger causality test, co-integration analysis and error-correction model, establishes a long-term equilibrium model and a short-term equilibrium model between the three demand factors and economic growth, in order to study the differences between the short-term role and long-term role which the three demand factors affect the economic growth. The fifth part, based on the above results of measurement and empirical research, put forward the counter-measures and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of the three demand factors of Inner Mongolia.
