Human resource is one of the most important resources in the Enterprise, and how to control the turn overate is the vital part of the human resource management. However, if the turnover rate becomes high, it’ll bring the company with effects and losses, not only including the increased of the cost of the staff reset, it also brings some loss of skills and experience, which will affect the competitiveness and productivity of enterprises. Also the high turnover rate might affect the personnel management and the training quality and team cohesion. ST Company is a typical with its high turn overate in the past four years. This paper will focus on the analysis and study based on the data of ST Company during2008and2011, the4-year average annual turn overate of ST Company is42%, which is higher than the average annual turnover rate of the Enterprises in China19%data on ST Company’s turnover. In the paper, the author brings in the analysis method of the Life Tables and The Proportional Hazard Model, Cox Regression, from the SPSS survival analysis. In the analysis, the author studies the effect of the Demographic characteristics factors and Job Characteristics on ST’s high turnover. The results show that Men worker have lower turnover rate than women’s, Age, Types of work, Salary Skill Variety, Task Significant and Feedback have reverse effects on ST’s turnover rate, and the labor intensity has a positive effect. The others affect a little, such as the Education, Task Identity and Autonomy. Finally, the author proposes some advice on how to reduce the high turnover rate.
