Development and Reform Commission released data shows that, the final products andadded value of70percent of Chinese enterprises in the growth stage (only SMEs accounted formore than90%of the total number of enterprises, of which about80%of SMEs in the growthstage) is equivalent to45%of the gross domestic product. This series of figures are sufficient toshow that the growing do play an irreplaceable role in expanding employment, economic vitality,and narrow the income gap and maintain the market structure, and building a harmonious society.However, each year more than half of new enterprises mortality in the growth stage, theexperience of numerous companies to prove that this phase is the high incidence of "enterprise"disease. Therefore, the problems faced by the enterprise growing can be resolved is the key to thesuccess. Thus, the management on the importance of corporate growth stage is necessary is fargreater than other life cycle stages. With the rapid economic development, market competition,corporate performance evaluation as a core part of the performance management process, hasbecome an important strategic management tool to help managers identify and solve the problemsof enterprises in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the enterprise. In view of this, build aset of accurate evaluation of the growing enterprise performance evaluation system to guide and tolead the company out of the growing plight, it is extremely urgent and necessary.Based on the corporate life cycle theory and performance evaluation theory, this article gIvesa systematic study on the growing enterprise performance evaluation system. Through the analysisof the enterprises’ characteristics, problems and other difficulties at the growth stage, andaccording to the environment and the development requirements of growing enterprises, thebusiness strategy is chosen and then enterprise level performance indicators is decomposed anddeveloped with the balanced scorecard and other methods, formed by further decomposition of thedepartments and staff performance evaluation, and ultimately the formation of corporate growth stage evaluation system set to the object of the enterprise, department, employee evaluation,including evaluation of host-guest, evaluation methods, evaluation indicators and criteria andother factors. Finally, a food and beverage company of Jinan,, is used as an example for theempirical analysis.
