Oil is important resources for a country’s economic development. As China’s rapid economic growth, oil consumption is in a period of rapid growth and energy supply tensions is increasingly severe. At the same time, increasing environmental pressure on fossil energy consumption, led to bio-ethanol fuel industry booming. Promotion and use of bio-ethanol fuel, renewable fuels is a strategic decision of implementing diversification of energy structure in China, it involves the country’s three major policy strategies for food security, energy and environmental protection. Developing the fuel ethanol routes of cassava "non-food biomass" for raw materials, it conforms to national industrial policies, conducive to mitigating our oil shortage situation, making the food security stable, reducing automobile exhaust pollution, improving the environment and air quality.Feasibility study of the project is in early stage of investment, which is making systematic, comprehensive analysis and demonstration on the necessity of the proposed project and the technical, economic, operating conditions, social and environmental impacts of the project options. It provides reliable basis for investment decision, which is a scientific method. Making feasibility study on cassava fuel ethanol project of TG Company, both to ensure the company’s expected profit, as well as for fuel-ethanol projects of other similar non-food raw materials provide some reference value, which has a very important theoretical and practical significance. This thesis carried out a feasibility study analysis on cassava fuel ethanol market, technical, economic, social benefits and risks of the project of TG Company through literature study and analysis of historical data, using the theories and methods of project feasibility study. Concluded the conclusions that implementing the project is technical leader, economically viable with an annual output of100,000tons of cassava as raw material to produce fuel alcohol of TG Company, it has better social benefits and a lower risk.
