Enterprise financing is always the hot issues in the theory and practice fields. With the constant changes of the economic situation at home and abroad, some domestic scholars study the theory innovation and practical breakthrough of the Enterprise financing; the others research on the Western financing theory and practice. The intellectual property pledge financing is a new way to obtain funds, which can change knowledge into capital. For small and medium-sized enterprises, the intellectual property pledge financing solve the financing problem.There are many cities have proceeded the business,for example Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin and so on,and have shaped their own special mode. The modes accumulate valuable experience for promoting intellectual property pledge financing work.The paper takes an in-depth research on the intellectual property pledge financing in China, through the comparative analysis and the empirical analysis methods. The first half elaborates the related concepts and theoretical basis on the intellectual property pledge financing; take an inductive analysis on the procedures and principles. At the same time, it takes the comparative analysis on the modes and finds the problems of modes. Besides, it takes an empirical analysis on the problem of enterprises’ intellectual property pledge financing, for example, the characteristics, the financing risk, and the financing limit of the financing enterprises. This paper selects two groups to take an empirical analysis, and acquire the enterprise’s financial characteristics. In order to further promote the development of the business comprehensively, it gives some suggestions in two levels, including macroscopical policy and microscopic operation.
