Study On Agricultural Products Export Of Anhui Province

With the economic globalization and Scale expansion of international trade,agricultural trade liberalization has developed rapidly. Join the WTO is both an opportunityand a challenge for the foreign trade of agricultural products in China. On one hand, thegradual opening up market provides the opportunity to our agricultural products in theworld market competition; it makes China’s agricultural products to the world, competewith the developed countries’ agricultural products, and strive for more market share. Italso Provide a broad development space for China’s agricultural production and trade. Onthe other hand, accession to the WTO has brought a number of obstacles for China’sagricultural trade; this was mainly reflected in China’s agricultural trade in the past to takethe tariff trade measures to protect domestic agriculture development. Accession to theWTO, tariff barriers are gradually being replaced by non-tariff barriers. The form ofNon-tariff barriers gradual increased. The threshold is getting higher and higher. AnhuiProvince’s agricultural production is mainly for extensive agriculture, Small scaleproduction, and Low product quality and safety standards. It is mainly won with cheapnessin international trade. But in recent years the agricultural quality standards has increased.Agricultural products of Anhui Province, face serious trade barrier in international trade,gradually lost their competitive advantages. Agricultural products exports also affected bythe international financial crisis, external demand to shrink on agricultural exports, furtherhinder the growth of agricultural products exports. Faced with such a complexinternational and domestic situation, analyze the current situation and existing problems ofthe agricultural exports of Anhui Province, and put forward suggestions to expand exports.Thereby increasing the market share of agricultural exports, improve the overall level ofChina’s economy, with important theoretical and practical significance.This paper first introduces the theory of agricultural exports and economic growth, Onthe basis of theoretical analysis, analysis the currently international and domestic exportsituation of the agricultural exports. Second, it analyzes the status of Anhui Province’sagricultural exports and the competitiveness of agricultural products exports. Analysiscomes to the problems of agricultural exports. In addition, in order to study the relationshipof agricultural exports and economic growth, in this paper; in this paper, Anhui Province asthe research object, collected and compiled data from1996to2010, agricultural products exports and economic growth (GDP) data. Use econometric methods to study therelationship between agricultural products exports and economic growth. By StationaryTests of data, co-integration test tests, Anhui agricultural exports and economic growth(GDP), there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between them. Granger causalityanalysis results show that the individual causal relationship exists between Anhuiagricultural exports and economic growth. That is economic growth promotes the export ofagricultural products. Exports of agricultural products are not Grainger reason of economicgrowth. This does not match the export-led growth (of ELG) hypothesis. This also showsthat Anhui Province is not an export-oriented province. After understanding therelationship between agricultural exports and economic growth, we should be based on thereality, seeing our own gaps and deficiencies. Transform economic development way,Expand the openness, further implementation the agricultural "going out" strategy. Finally,the paper based on the current status of Anhui agricultural products exports and theproblems put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
