Research On The Effects Of Agricultural Products Export To Economic Growth In Yunnan Province

Since the21th century, economic globalization has become increasingly apparent;the trade between countries strengthened the economic ties and played an importantpart in the economic growth. The rapid economic developments in our country arealso achieved during the process of implementation of the policy of reform andopening up. Yunnan Province is in the southwest frontier; its economic aggregates andtrade scale have a very clearer growth.Until now, trade in Yunnan province hasbecome an important part in the economic development, and along with the furtherprogress of the economic openness, especially with the further implementation of thesoutheast Asia economic cooperation and opening policy, compared with the period ofunopened up, Yunnan’s economy’s opening characteristics will be highlighted further.Not only agriculture is the foundation of national economy, but also the basicproducts which support our economic construction and development. For Yunnanprovince, it plays a basic function to economic development, at the same time; itconstitutes the important engine field of economic development in Yunnan. Ourgovernment pays attention to the development of agriculture all the time and thepolicy “State Council No.1Document” always emphasizes it every year. A lot offactors will influence our export, for example, the financial crisis in2008, Europeandebt crisis in2011, and so on. The agriculture products exportation also needs to facethe negative effect in Yunnan. How to push the development of the agricultureproducts exportation in new situation, it’s very important to promote the developmentof Yunnan’s economy.This paper based on the complex economic situation at the domestic and abroadmacroscopic background, we analyze the development of economy, the theory abouttrading and the related literature at home and abroad firstly. On this foundation, usingYunnan’s exporting agriculture products as research object, from the three levels ofdeepening the analysis: the first one which is we analyze empirically the status andcharacteristics of Yunnan’s economy; the second analysis is the export quantity, structure, size and market of Yunnan’s agricultural products; the third is in the abovetwo basic research completed under the premise of conclusions, We state itscompetitive advantage in the international market from its natural resources, location,products and so on. Secondly, through calculating the export pull degree to economyfor last10years in Yunnan and analyzing the exportation in all the international tradeexportation in Yunnan. It mainly includes two levels of analysis and study, firstly weestablish the compared relationship between the agricultural exports and economicgrowth from intuitive graphics, and secondly we describe Yunnan’s agriculturalexports in foreign trade export position. In the analysis tools, for facilitateunderstanding analysis conclusion, this paper describe the relationship between theagricultural product exportation and Yunnan’s GDP by the line chart.; In the reasoningmethods, We are using econometrics linear regression analysis method to show itsfunction and contribution for economic growth.The ultimate goal of this paper discusses the economic significance and importanceof agriculture exportation in Yunnan through analyzing the chances and difficulties todevelop it. At the same time, we put forward some related policies and suggestions tosolve the problems existing in the agricultural products’ manufacture and exportation.
