The market share of post enterprise is gradually absorbedby other industries in fierce the competition. The optimization of postaltransportation network system (VRP) is one of the keys for an enterprise to be in aninvincible position in the competition. Especially, the selection of Vehicle routing isa complexly systematic project. A rational routing plan can help achieve quickerresponse speed，higher quality of service, higher customers’ satisfaction and loweroperational cost of service merchants.Firstly, starting from the analysis of theoretical basis of logistics networkoptimization, and through an analysis of the introduction and the business process ofthe post express logistics co., ltd. of Heilongjiang, conclusions of problems existedin the transportation system network operation and factors that should be consideredin the network system optimization are drawn in the paper, Analyzing the necessityand feasibility of network optimization. Secondly, we also study the nationalnetwork, provincial network and regional network of the post express logistics co.,ltd. of Heilongjiang, after the optimization problem of every post lines at present isanalyzed, the emphasis of post transportation network system optimization shouldbe put on the regional network through the analysis of post transportation situation.Method and relevant steps that should be adopted in the post transportation networkoptimization is put forward. At last, in view of the post road and based on pathoptimization theory and method, a corresponding mathematical model is established,in which the genetic algorithm and MATLAB platform are used to obtain the besttransportation route of regional network. Conclusion analyses are made of theoptimized post road. The significance of the dissertation is to analyze VRP mathematically and realizesit by MATLAB. The algorithm given in this paper can obtain an optimized solutioneffectively and has been proven to be a good one. So, it has a high value to logisticenterprises.
