Research On Management Innovation Of Small And Medium-sized Enterprises During The Cloud Computing Technology Days

As an important part of economy system, small and medium-sized enterprises play animportant role in promoting the economic development of China. However, as the degree ofeconomic globalization and competition at home and abroad intensifies day by day, especiallyafter the global economic crisis, the market competition pressure from home and abroad thatSMEs faced is increasing, all sorts of problems, such as low level of the technical content ofproducts, shortage of funds, lack of innovation, backward management and so on, haveseriously hampered the sound development and even threaten the existence of SMEs. On theother hand, as a new IT delivery model, cloud computing provides cheap computing andstorage services for SMEs by on-demand leased way, it has unparalleled advantages inreducing business cost, improving work efficiency, and enhancing R&D capability. Under thisbackground, this paper studies SMEs should be how to take measures on manage innovationin order to overcome the difficulties in development and realize the sustained and healthydevelopment in the cloud computing environment.From the four aspects of market resources, capital resources, technology resources andhuman resources, this paper firstly analyzes the current situation of the development of smalland medium-sized enterprises. It is considered that SMEs are often in a vulnerable position interms of accessing the market resources; it is lack of capacity to cope with changes in theexternal environment and is easily influenced by big enterprises and market fluctuation Thereasons for this situation can be related from two aspects: on one hand, SMEs is lack ofcapital resources, technology resources and human resources, and besides that externalenvironment (the government policy, financial institutions, and other intermediary serviceorganizations) is not perfect; on the other hand, SMEs is at a lower level of management.SMEs can not effectively integrate all kinds of internal and external available resources, suchas capital resources, technology resources and human resources, and as a result, SMEs’market competition ability is weak and is in the inferior position in the developing andmaintaining the market resources. So the problems of management are the key of hinder thehealthy development of SMEs. After finishing problems analysis, combined with advantagesof cloud computing technology in expanding the scale of available resources, SMEs shall implement the management innovation measures, especially change the traditionalmanagement concept of "heavy production, light R&D", actively develop new products andservices based on the accurate grasp of market demand in order to promote enterprisedevelopment by innovation. In cloud computing environment, SMEs carry out managementinnovation from the following aspects: management concept innovation, human resourcemanagement innovation, organizational structure innovation, business model innovation R&Dmanagement innovation and marketing management innovation. Finally, for the issues whichSMEs faced in the process of using cloud computing technology in implementingmanagement innovation should be paid attention to, the paper discusses that from threeaspects of cloud computing technology, government policies and regulations and the internalmanagement of enterprises.In the environment of cloud computing technology, it is an inevitable choice for SMEsimplementing management innovation to enhance the market competitiveness. Using cloudcomputing and making management innovation is also an effective way to realizing themodernization of management and improving management efficiency for the SMEs. Thispaper makes an in-depth study of management innovation of SMEs mainly by using themethod of theoretical analysis from the perspective of management rather than technology. Ithas been hoped that this paper can make a further research on management innovation ofSMEs, and put forward some theoretical and practical suggestions for the rapid developmentof SMEs.
