The Research On Warehouse Location Under The Development Of Regional Economy

This paper analyzes the present research status at home and abroad aboutwarehouse location problem, on this basis, the paper research on warehouse locationunder the development of regional economy rather than warehousing enterprisesown interests, the reason not only is taking into account the long-term interests of thecompany but also standing in the Government line departments to compatibility of awarehouse location in terms of regional economic development planning.This paper divided the establishment of evaluation index system into twosteps--primaries and optimization. In the primaries, in line with the principle ofcomprehensive evaluation of regional economic development this paper hasestablished a preliminary evaluation system based on detailing the guiding ideology,basic principles and common method. The index system is comprehensive and basedon the theory of regional economic development, but has not addressed the locationproblem. The second step is optimization of index system, elected from the primaryindicators and the indicators which closely related to warehouse location problem, inorder to constitute an evaluation index system of warehouse location problem basedon regional economic development.Paper provides an in-depth analysis of the nature of the location problem,presents an idea that the vast majority of the location problems belong to multipleattribute decision making and analysis common method for multiple attributedecision making. This article has opted for the classic method for multiple attributedecision making AHP due to the index system has complexity data, manyqualitative and quantitative indicators. On this basis, paper detailed analysis the stepsof AHP method carried out on the warehouse location. Last, paper has analyzed andimproved several problems for using AHP to decide warehouse location, includingof hierarchy structure and scaling issues. Focuses on the lacking of objectivity whileAHP method dealing with quantitative indicators. This paper introduced the indexweight model based on DEA, and weighted the two weights determined by the AHPand DEA as an indicator for subsequent analysis.Put the evaluation indicators system and decision-making method combined up is the location model. Paper uses the model into a car company selecting largewarehousing type4S shop. Thought establishing hierarchy structure of evaluationindicators, selecting actual data of evaluation indicator, constructing judgmentmatrix, calculating weights, comparing and selecting of alternative schemes, themodel found the best warehouse option, and compared with the result by the DEA.In either of the two results, the first two ranking were highly consistent. This showsthat the evaluation methodology is scientific and reasonable.
