The Development Of Aviation In China:Current Stage And Future Development

China’s aviation industry sees above average growth rates, which is impressive considering China’s exponential overall economic growth. However, there is no clear measurement for "aviation". This thesis investigates all parts of the industry and uses passenger numbers in order to determine industry growth.It is necessary to set the frame for the aviation industry at its current stage in order to transport the maximum amount of passengers possible on Chinese carriers. The current framework allows nine-fold growth until2040which equals to2billion passengers. However, investigations of this thesis show that2.5billion passengers can be transported on Chinese carriers if policy changes such as more competition are applied.
