Currently, construction market in China accounts for quite a few shares in the global market, with annual construction area increase of2billion square meters or so. Based on the statistics, energy consumption in the construction sector reached30%of total consumption of whole social productions. It is essential way for us to take full advantage of renewable energy in face of the global energy shortage. Meanwhile, it is an important resolution for conflict relief between energy supply and demand to enhance the promotion of renewable energy construction. Renewable energy includes solar, geothermic, wind, biological and oceanic energy and so on, which would play a significant role in energy supply increase, environment protection, energy structure improvement, social and economic benefits improvement. Moreover, they are strategic measures to build up energy-saving, environment-friendly society and carry out sustainable development.On the basis of the subject that Qingdao renewable energy strategic plans in construction sector are finalized, the article was finished based on author’s work experiences, aiming to improve Qingdao economy and society sustainable development. Renewable classification and application in construction sector was presented firstly, with the following comprise of renewable energy application in China and that in other counties. Then, energy-saving and renewable energy development in Qingdao construction were discussed. Moreover, according to the evaluations of air conditioning using shallow geothermic sea water and solar hot water project, analysis of projects operating mechanism and properties indicated that renewable energy can create enormous economic and social benefits. Inner and outer environment of regenerative energy application in construction sector are analyzed by lots of hydrological, geological, solar radiation amount data and so on sourcing from field exploration and materials collection. Advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of regenerative energy building application in Qingdao are analyzed and concluded using SWOT method. The strategy goal, energy conservation and emissions reduction were made on basis of strategy study on the above. The study results show that expended multiplex overall strategy and focusing competition strategy for the regenerative energy development in construction sector should be taken in Qingdao city. In the future, solar energy, shallow geothermal energy, biomass energy and ocean energy should be pushed forward gradually so as to create unified compound zones covering focusing areas and multiplex areas. Finally, the corresponding operational measures and control plans for the above strategies are put forward. Moreover, the summary and renewable energy development prospects were discussed.
