Study Of Renewable Energy Source In Xinjiang

Energy is the important foundation of the national economy development and the essential basic material safeguard of the national production and life. Along with the rapid development of global economy, energy demand is growing fast, but so far, the energy structure still is the fossil fuel primarily, such as petroleum, natural gas and coal. China at present seriously depend on traditional energy source, in particular coal. how to face the unsustainable of energy supply structure is the question that urgently needs to be solved. although Xinjiang has the rich coal, petroleum and the natural gas resources, but drying up of traditional energy resources is inevitable. In order to maintain the country energy security and realizes the economical sustainable development, must strengthen the development and research of renewable energy source. In order to harmonize the development of economy, society, resource and environment, distribution and exploitative status of renewable energy source in Xinjiang was described in this paper. At the same time, the position and function of exploitation of renewable energy source in sustainable development of Xinjiang economy was demonstrated, main limiting factors of exploitation of renewable energy source were analyzed.
