The rural economy is an important component of national economy. Thedevelopment of rural economy has an urgent need from the support of credit funds.During the past twenty years, the development of microfinance has effectivelyalleviated both the money supply and the money demand contradictions of thefinancial market in Chinese rural areas. It also expanded the source of funds andestablished a good effect to the rural financial structure. However, in the imperfectsituations of the market economy and rural microfinance system of our country, alsobecause of under the influence of the not well organized policy and commercialmarket, the microfinance tends to be dispersed, which have a bad influence to thedevelopment of rural economy.This article based on the actual situations of Harbin, on the basis of introductionsand related theories about the rural microfinance, and made a meticulous analysisabout the rural microfinance business in Harbin on the macro environment, internalsystems, how to prevent the risks, the farmer themselves, single carrier ofmicrofinance, not enough source of funds, etc. Trying to find out the deep-seatedreasons on the problems of the rural microfinance, the paper made some suggestionslisted as follows:1.
