The Role Of Government In The Construction Of Regional Financial Center

The construction of the financial center plays an important role in promotingeconomic development and has become an urban development shortcuts. Thus, thedomestic local governments have proposed the construction of regional financial centerplanning. From the construction patterns,including Shandong regional financial center,most of the regional financial center in China is government-driven type. the governmentof Shandong Province has clearly proposed in the‘twelfth Five-Year’Plan of thedevelopment of finance in Shandong,that the government should continue to support thedevelopment of the financial industry and form a regional financial center, which has thecomplementary advantage of the two in Jinan and Qingdao, to promote the rapiddevelopment of the province’s financial industry.From the perspective of the role of government, the regional financial centerconstruction research is not much,therefore, taking Shandong as an example, This article,with the combination of the reality of Jinan and Qingdao attempts to use "wheel drivemode" and analyzes the factors affecting the construction of a regional financial center,including government policies force. This article on the role of government in theConstruction of Shandong regional financial center puts forward some feasiblesuggestions.This article is divided into five chapters to research the role of government in theconstruction of regional financial center: Chapter one and chapter two have mainlyanalyzed the related theories concerning the connotations and theoretical basis,formativemachanisms, formative mode,role of government,effect of financial centers. Chapter three,through the comparison of China’s regional financial center construction modes, hasmainly concluded role of government in regional financial center. Chapter four has mainlyanalyzed the current situation of the construction of Shandong regional financial center.Chapter five has proposed feasible policy suggestions of the promotion of the two cities’regional financial center upon the foundation of the chapters’ analysis above.
